Infonursing's Xat Chat Rules and Guidelines

It came to my attention that there are some chatters communicating indifferently and unacceptable to others who behaves otherwise.

As a result, i have made the Rules and Guidelines for Info Nursing's Xat Chat.

As an individual chats with Info Nursing's Xat Chat, it is thereby understood that the individual agrees and will abide to the Rules of Info Nursing's Xat Chat.

INFONURSING's Xat Chat RULES AND GUIDELINES:

  1. All chatters are expected to behave that is acceptable to the Majority of the Chatters.
  2. NO FOUL/OFFENSIVE/DEGRADING WORDS should be used as means of expressing ones feelings.
  3. NO FOUL/OFFENSIVE/DEGRADING NAMES should be used. Info Nursing will be strict in implementing this rule. If a Owner/Moderator ask a chatter to change his/her name to a more decent and acceptable name, YOU MUST OBEY. Otherwise, The chatter who is asked to change his/her name will have the 3 Warnings System and the 4plus-way Banning System.
  4. If by chance that there is a Moderator behaving indifferently or abusive of his/her powers as a moderator, chatters are encouraged to report the Moderator on the given Link provided under Info Nursing's Xat Chat.
  5. RACIAL SLURRING to any of the chatters is strictly prohibited.
  6. SPAM/FLOODING of words is strictly prohibited.
  7. Posting links are suppressed.
  8. Inviting and/or posting other sites similar to the contents of Info Nursing will be suppressed (most importantly nursing sites with Xat Chat service). But chatters may ask permission to the Owners and/or Moderator of Info Nursing's Xat Chat regarding inviting and/or posting the links. Owners and Moderators reserves the right to allow this. A YES to this means the one who asked permission is allowed to post the link that is being asked. A NO to this MEANS YOU ARE PROHIBITED TO POST THE LINK BEING ASKED!
  9. Owners and Moderators reserves the right to ban chatters that will violate the RULES and GUIDELINES.
  10. Owners and Moderators MUST also follow the RULES and GUIDELINES of Info Nursing's Xat Chat.
  11. Owners and Moderators MUST implement the 3 Warnings System in banning a chatter.
  12. Info Nursing will impose the 3 Warnings System in banning a chatter:
  • 1st Warning: Chatters being called to 1st warning is given 30 seconds. Chatters being called to this MUST RESORT TO FOLLOW THE RULES and GUIDELINES being imposed.
  • 2nd Warning: Chatters being called to 2nd warning is given 15 seconds to FOLLOW THE RULES and GUIDELINES being imposed.
  • 3rd (FINAL) Warning: Chatters being called to the FINAL WARNING is given 5 seconds to FOLLOW THE RULES and GUIDELINES. As you may see, this is the final warning that will be given to the chatter being called to warnings. If the time being asked lapsed, a BAN will be imposed.
13. Owners and Moderators MUST implement the 4plus-way Banning System.
  • 1st Ban: One Hour Ban. After the 1st Ban Lapsed, Owners and Moderators MUST resort back to the 3 Warnings System minus the 1st warning.
  • 2nd Ban: Three Hours Ban. After the 2nd Ban Lapsed, Owners and Moderators MUST resort back to the 3 Warnings System minus the 1st warning.
  • 3rd Ban: Six Hours Ban. After the 3rd Ban Lapsed, Owners and Moderators MUST resort back to the 3 Warnings System minus the 1st and 2nd warning.
  • 4th Ban:Twelve Hours Ban. After the 4th Ban Lapsed, Owners and Moderators MUST resort back to the 3 Warnings System minus the 1st and 2nd warning.
  • If, and only if, there is remission of a chatter violating the rules and the 4plus-way Banning System had been exhausted, Owners and Moderators will implement a 18 hours Ban.
  • Other Owners and Moderators must respect and must not reciprocate the decision of the Implementor of the Ban.
  • Only the MAIN OWNER reserves the right to lift the ban/ban a chatter, and bypass the 3 Warnings System and the 4plus-way Banning System.

CLARIFICATION ON THE EARLY DEADLINE IN FILING

MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2008 - 01
January 18, 2008

T O : PRESIDENTS AND DEANS OF SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND
UNIVERSITIES OFFERING NURSING COURSE

SUBJECT: CLARIFICATION ON THE EARLY DEADLINE IN FILING
APPLICATIONS FOR YEAR 2008 NURSES LICENSURE
EXAMINATIONS (NLE)

The Commission earlier issued Memorandum Circular No. 2007 – 15 dated November 29, 2007 on the early deadline in filing applications for Year 2008 Nurses Licensure Examination. The schedules of the Nurses Licensure Examination for year 2008 and the deadline in filing applications are as follows:
Examination Dates Deadline No. of Days before Exam
June 1 and 2, 2008 Sunday & Monday
April 18, 2008 Friday
43 days
November 29 and 30, 2008 Saturday and Sunday
October 17, 2008 Friday
43 days
We reiterate that the Commission is expecting 80,000 to 100,000 or more examinees starting year 2008. With this increasing number of examinees, the 20 to 30 day-deadline, which we had for 15,000 to 30,000 examinees in previous years, is now very short for the Commission to complete all post-application activities such as batching of processed applications, encoding of applicants’ data, editing of proof lists, review of applications, sorting and alphabetizing of permanent examination and registration record cards (PERRCs), matching of PERRCs against the Lists of Examinees by Rooms, and posting of Lists of Examinees, and pre-examination activities such as the final list of schools/buildings/rooms and examination orms to be used in the printing of test booklets. Quarantine period for security printing is usually two (2) weeks before examination dates, and which may still be longer if there will be more than 80,000 examinees.

Some schools and other stakeholders have interpreted the earlier Memorandum Circular as "graduates of March or April 2008 will not be admitted in the June 2008 NLE and those in October 2008 will not be admitted in the November 2008 NLE” . Text messages are also going around that there will be no NLE in June. These interpretations/text messages are not true.
For clarification, graduates of March or April 2008 will be accepted in the June 2008 examination, provided, they will be able to submit, at the time of filing application on or before the deadline, all the documentary requirements, i.e. Transcript of records with scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination Purposes Only”, Birth Certificate in NSO security paper, Notarized/Sworn Summary of Related Learning Experience and OR/DR cases. Those with incomplete documents will NOT be admitted in the June 2008 examination. They are advised to apply early for the November 2008 examination. Likewise, graduates of October 2008 may apply for the November 2008 NLE, if they have the complete documents at the time of filing applications on or before the deadline. If not, they are also advised to apply early for the June 2009 NLE.
The Commission will strictly observe the deadline in filing applications starting with the examinations in 2008.

For your information and guidance.
